Many congratulations to our partner Enactus Munich, especially to its great project team „BEEautiful“, on the successful handover of another social enterprise to the local teammates.
BEEautiful is operating in Burkina Faso, where beeswax is exported abroad as a side product of the honey production whereas the Burkinan cosmetics market only offers cheap goods of low quality from other countries.
The goal of BEEautiful has been to keep the value chain of beeswax within Burkina Faso by establishing a local natural cosmetics manufactory and thereby creating jobs for women.
All the best for BEEautiful's future - and lots of fun and success for its local management!
